Gaol Square, Armagh
Armagh City & District Council
1998-2009
We have been working with the Council since 1998 to identify appropriate and sustainable uses for this unique complex of derelict Listed Buildings. The five acre site facing the Mall contains a number of linked and freestanding buildings dating from around 1865, all enclosed by the high Gaol wall.
Working with Alastair Coey Architects, we have carried out planning studies and obtained a mixed use planning permission for the site. Selective demolitions, asbestos removal and holding repair contracts have been carried out.
